Responders can either plug in the Model 44-9 alpha-beta-gamma GM pancake probe for contamination measurements and measuring samples, or the Model 44-2 high-sensitivity gamma scintillation detector for locating the source of high readings. A locked toggle switch selects the correct set of operating parameters for the detector currently connected to the instrument to optimize the measurement.
