Thermo Scientific™ RadEye™ G Series Personal Dose Rate Meter

In any nuclear or radiological emergency, it’s important to keep track of your radiation exposure. The Thermo Scientific™ RadEye™ G Series personal radiation detectors give first responders quick and accurate gamma and dose rate readings. These lightweight, handheld Geiger counters detect even very low gamma energies, showing the smallest changes instantly while filtering out random fluctuations. For hazmat teams working in potentially explosive areas, intrinsically safe RadEye G models meet the latest ATEX standards.  

They feature a menu-driven interface customizable for different uses, a large backlit display for clear readings, and high-range versions for levels up to 300 R/h (3 Sv/h). Intrinsically safe options handle dangerous environments, while the large energy-compensated GM tube ensures precise gamma and X-ray dose measurements. With high sensitivity to low-energy gamma radiation, a shock-resistant build, and 900 hours of runtime on two AAA batteries, they’re built for tough conditions. A bright LED supports use in smoke or darkness, and the simple button layout makes operation easy. An alarm relay output allows area monitoring, and they’re designed to exceed ANSI N42.33 standards. Data analysis is available via optional Windows™-based software and a compatible reader device.
